The correct use: parquet varnish

Here you can find out exactly how to process our parquet varnish, what you have to pay attention to and what you need:

You will need:

- Parquet varnish
- fine sandpaper
- possibly masking tape to mask off the area not to be coated
- paint roller, brush or cup gun
- if necessary, a Farbenlöwe thinner (this can also be used afterwards to clean the device will.)

    Preparations and processing:

    1. The processing and especially the drying of 2-component paint should not take place below 10°C. This information refers to the paint material, substrate and room temperature during processing and the subsequent drying and curing time.
    2. Dust sources should be removed.
    3. Use painter's tape to mask off the areas that are not to be coated. Stir the paint well before use.
    4. The surface must be sanded before use and be clean, dry and free of grease, silicone and wax. You should definitely remove loose old paintwork or rust beforehand. Important: Do not use soapy cleaners or scouring milk (these are made from fatty acids and are therefore not suitable for dissolving grease).
    5. A primer is not necessary. You can also use the parquet varnish as a primer.
    6. If desired, dilute the parquet varnish with approx. 5 - 10% thinner.
    7. Spray, roll or brush paint. 1-2 coats are recommended.
    8. The drying takes place after 3-8 hours. The product can then also be painted over.
